Mr. Campbell
This is my first year working with Unity. I look forward to helping build the program and seeing the students grow as individuals as well as as a band. I plan on doing this through incorporating fun and educational literature into the program. This will help students be motivate to learn new concepts that they have not in the past. I will also use computer programs and websites to show the students that you can continue the learning outside of the music classroom and when you are unable to play your instrument.
Last semester I worked with Brown County School Districts as the band director and fifth grade music teacher. I graduated last fall from Quincy University with a BA: Music with teacher certification. I also hold a BS of General Studies from Eastern Illinois University, and an Associates of Sciences: Music from Illinois Central College. Through these endeavors I have had the opportunity to study under numerous music educators. I hope to pass on what I have learned from them to the students here at Unity.
I look forward to working with the students and parents this year. Feel free to contact me with any questions or concerns at [email protected] or through the school phone number.
